What this site collects

Your email address, and only when you type it into a form here. Nothing else is asked for and nothing else is stored about you by name.

Where it goes

• Kit (ConvertKit) stores your email address and sends you chapter 1 plus later emails from Ross. Every email has an unsubscribe link; one click and you are out.
• Stripe handles payment if you buy PROTOCOL. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and are never seen by, or stored on, this site.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement tool.
• Wistia serves the videos on the sales page and counts plays; it loads only on /protocol/.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which means Google sees the IP address your browser connects from.

What is kept here

A record of each sale is stored on this site's own database: the Stripe checkout session id, the amount, the currency, the buyer's email, and the campaign tag that brought the visit. That record exists so orders can be delivered and reconciled.

Your browser also keeps two small values in local storage: the campaign tag for the link you first arrived on, and your email address after you subscribe, so a later checkout can be pre-filled. Both live only in your browser and can be cleared by clearing site data.

What is never done

No advertising pixels run on this site and your email address is never sold, rented, or traded.

Unsubscribe from any email, or write to contact@rossbased.com to ask what is held about you or to have it deleted.
